how to clean photos - tutorial by KuroSy how to clean photos - tutorial by KuroSy
i made this tut maily for :iconsoviet-hetalia: club, as a tut to suggest to submitters, since a very large amount of the pics we refuse there have just some quality problem that could be easily solved in few steps.
it's a really quick and basic tut but i still hope it can be useful to some people ^w^

You could also use GIMP! It's a program very similar to Photoshop, and can be downloaded (for free!) here.

GIMP is set up slightly different from Photoshop, so it may take some exploring to figure out how to follow tutorials like this one, but once you get used to it GIMP works great for most projects! :[)

it's sold, probably also through its official website. Try searching for "Adobe Photoshop".
..or try downloading it from somewhere else lol

Using the magic wand or color range select would work much better. Plus, you still have texture inside the drawing.

hmm well when it's about a sketch with lines going from darker to softer grey, the magic wand could bite off some line, that's why i didn't mention it at all.. and yeah photoshop has more than just one option to eliminate colors xD but the important thing is that it works, isn't it.
as i wrote on the tut itself, i don't mind that texture, that's why i just left it there :3

Ricordo benissimo questo passaggio, il primo che mi insegnasti quando cominciai a "usare" Photoshop..
